Egy furcsa párosítás, a cider és a komló házassága. A ‘17-es évjárat egyik cuvéejéhez adtunk egy keveset a kedvenc komlónkból, hidegen áztatva, mert a megfelelő mennyiségben szerintünk gyönyörűen kiegészítik egymást a bodzás, citrusos és almás jegyek. 15g/l nyírfacukorral egyensúlyoztuk a nagyobb testet és élénk aromákat, így lett finom, süteményhez hasonlítóan omlós a korty.

Bottle at home, courtesy of the producer. Saying that I'm not an expert of ciders would be an understatement. I did enjoy this one tho as the hoppy character was so apparent that it gave a nice, slighlty bitter and somewhat spicy edge to round out the sweetish, somewhat tart apple notes.

Notater fra en aldeles utmerket kveld på Våland, i lag med Egil, Johan, Camilla, Marianne og Fia. Denne 0,33 flasken fra importkofferten ble en av kveldens to nedturer: klar strågylden med kort bruseskum. Ubestemmelig aroma og pussig smak, for å si det pent. Hint av oppvaskmiddel med citron. Ikke mye som minner om eplecider her.

Botrle shared with Holmen1, Johan, Camilla, Marianne at Johan’s place 02.07.22. Clear urine colour. Odd aroma and taste of wine gum, lemon urinal balls and a hint of unripe apples. Meh.

20/9/2022. Bottle courtesy of Boris, cheers. Pours clear pale gold with minimal head. Aroma is floral, hoppy, apple, citrus, touch of herb. Medium sweetness. Light to moderate bitterness. Light tartness. Medium body, oily, low carbonation. Crisp, with a light drying finish. Good.

330ml bottle courtesy of Grumbo, many thanks for this one Graham! Pale yellow gold colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of apple, citric, hop. Taste is apple, fleshy, citric, floral, herby, hop, with caramel & vanilla hints, some tartness and acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry citric hoppy finish. Nicely drinkable.

Draught at Gravity taproom, vintage 2019. Clear, straw colored. AROMA- smooth fermented apple, a bit herbal, touch of mint, noble one. FLAVOR- very smooth, lightly sweet, slightly sour, the same as aroma. Medium bodied. Really good.
