St.Bernardus ‘75 Years Anniversary’ is the final element in our celebration of our brewery’s 75th anniversary. In honour of the occasion, our brewers have created a festive ‘tripel style’ birthday beer. This beer will be sold in an extremely limited edition of 11,000 bottles, and only as 75cl. Every bottle is marked with its own, unique number!
Colour
A rich golden beer with an ample, but elegant head of foam.
Character, flavour, aromas
‘75 Years Anniversary’ definitely shares all the typical traits of a St.Bernardus: Watou’s groundwater gives it a lovely briny tang, quality malts ensure a pleasantly full mouthfeel with notes of brown sugar and nougat, and the unique yeast makes for a refreshingly fruity aroma reminiscent of fruits such as banana, red apple and pear. A balanced finish is complemented nicely by the refined bitterness of the hops.
Culinary
This festive birthday beer is a delicious accompaniment to a seafood salad, hearty grilled meats, or a poultry stew with plenty of vegetables. Of course, it is also worth savouring as a pre-dinner drink or to round things off, with a nice bit of St.Bernardus cheese!

7fiddy, thanks to my bro for this ISO ale. It pours hazy deep blonde - orange with a thick, rugged white head. The aroma is rich and hearty bready malts, toasty grains, cereal, bitter - sweet, perfumed, foamy banana candy, banana sponge cake, warming spice and clove rock. The taste is firm dryness, sweet - sour, zingy, tangy, bright orangey citrus, kumquat, marmalade sandwiches, fruit jelly, boozey warmth, sponge cake, cereal, nuttiness, honeyed grain, green banana and banana split with a warming finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation nice depth to it.

Bouteille 75cl, # 3769, BB 30/11/2023.

750 c&c from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours amber with a large creamy white head. Aroma of banana with hint of clove. Arguably full bodied. Soft and lush in the mouth. Flavor is Belgian yeast/spice, clove, banana and a very tasty caramel malt. Reasonably towards dry. Bitter isn't the point. Exquisite.

0.75 l bottle from 'Bierloods22'. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, quite yeasty-spicy, gently fruity-floral aroma of clove, peach, orange peel and some banana. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy, quite fruity-floral taste of banana, honey, clove, orange peel and some peach, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently dry finish. Medium to full body, smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Nicely fruit-forward Tripel, very well-balanced, highly enjoyable.

Huge, dense yellowish head over lively carbonated hazy ochre-orange beer. White candi sugar, toasted malts, watercolour paint, summer grain, some alcohol traceable. Liquorice, jap , toasted malts, hint at vanilla, sweetish bread, breadcrust. Quite slick, good body, well-carbonated. Really? For the 75th anniversary, couldn't it have beer a bit more daring, a bit more original, a bit more worked upon? This is thirteen to the dozen. And too sweet. Pffff... Txs to Stef!
