Bottle. Cloudy yellow/orange with a big and bold white head. Aroma of ripe bananas, wheat and clove. Taste of bananas, clove, yeast, wheat and apricots with hints of lemons and minerals. Slightly spicy. Low bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Solid stuff.

Dicke Euroflasche, recht klassisch gestaltetes Etikett. Gute Menge Hefe die durch das recht helle Bier wabert. Gefällt optisch. Frische und vergorene Früchte, etwas Getreide, etwas krautig. Eiskalt genossen durchaus recht ansprechend, bei normaler Trinktemperatur allerdings nicht so ganz meins.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 10A). Bottle 50 cl - Batch 15:06 (BBF 02.01.2020). AROMA: medium-high clove-like aroma with a medium-low wheaty-sweet background. faint citric note. APPEARANCE: pale gold color and hazy. medium-large white head, moussy, with good retention. TASTE: medium clove flavour, followed by a medium-low wheat background with a slight sweetness. medium-low to low bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish. PALATE: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a traditional weissbier ticking all the boxes, with a more clove fermentation profile.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from 'Dursty' (Unna), best before July 2019. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of banana, clove and some pear with a touch of nutmeg. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, quite yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of banana, clove and some pear, followed by a short, slightly bitter, quite yeasty-spicy and a bit chalky finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!
