Hazy amber colour, white creamy foam. Nose of wheat, some citrus, malty, bready with a nice citrussy touch. Light sweet. Very easy drinkable. Great. I don't understand the low scores here.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm consumed at home in the company of Bob and Clare, Sunday 26th March 2023, we're cooking a Chicken and Chorizo Lasagne and we've made Raspberry Ice Cream and also Black Cherry Ice Cream. Pours a hazy light mid gold with a large white head, a little tangy, drying at the end, nice nose. This is a decent beer.

500 ml bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a foamy head. Mostly clove and banana, grainy and bready, yeasty, sourdough, citrussy, minerals. Mild dryness. Medium to light bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, mild dry finish. Quite nice, but very different from a normal Weißbier.

Bottle. Amber color. Slightly herbal, even a bit smoky aroma and flavor with citrus and pear. Sweetish, fairly complex. Ash in the aftertaste.

Dunkel getreidiger, leider sehr milder Nachhall. 12/10/9/7/9/8

Bottle 500ml (AIH40)
Pinky-amber color, small steady white head, lace. Grainy, papery banana nose which had smell of dishing rug at first. Medium--bodied. Malty, overriped banana, low bitterness. Middle of the pack weizen.

Bottled@AIH40 (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy orangeish amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is fruity, toffeeish, mild floral notes as well as some nice bananaish and wheaty notes. Flavour is wheat, bananas, some zest, mild spices, sweet malts, toffee and a bit of lactic (non sour though) notes. Mild ryelike notes in the finish. Carbonation is sadly a bit too much on the tonguetickling side of things.
