Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Spicy and herbal aroma with coriander seed, fruity notes, more herbal aspects. No smoked pepper unfortunately. Medium body. Sweetish rather than sour from Alvinne, but good and interesting...

8 June 2023. At Hal 16 (Dok Brewing). Cheers to the Teamleader crew!
A: hazy orange, small, foamy, off-white head.
A: bell pepper, (smoked) paprika, coriander, apricot, jalapeño.
T: sour unripe apricot & orange, bittersweet bell pepper & paprika powder.
F: tart stone fruit, some soapy coriander, paprika and chili heat.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Enjoyable for what it is; could have done without the coriander though.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, amber colour with average, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally earthy, (wheaty) malty and spicy, minimally smoky aroma, a touch of pear, grass, pepper, salt. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty, yeasty fruity, slightly spicy and minimally smoky, notes of apple, pear, some pepper, fruity chili, coriander, a minimally salty touch, minimally leafy, earthy interludes; peppery spiciness with minimally accumulating effect in the finish. Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft, silky palate, fine, soft carbonation. Nice composition, well balanced - enjoyable.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy amber, off-white head. Aroma: Malty, smoke notes. Taste: Smoked malt, hints of smoked meat, a little bit overwhelming salty and peppery notes, subtle coriander. Medium body, just below average carbonation. A quite strong Lichtenhainer with a quite strong spicy twist. I think I prefer the more traditional versions of this style.
