Deep dark red colour with thin head. Aroma is strong with perfumey red fruits, especially sour currants. Sweet and sour taste. Not really puckering or dry though. Fruit really dominates but in the finish the woody lambic just starts to come through.

Sour and tart, fruity. Red currants dominate, as to what the other 4 forest fruit are your guess is as good as mine. Medium acidity, a bit of earthy funk. Nice.

Wee bottle from the boxset from Radbeer. It pours a lovely hazy bright red with a medium fluffy pink - white head. The aroma is juicy, tangy, bright, vibrant berry action, tangy raspberry, jammy, red redcurrant, cherry drops, vinous, blueberry, sweaty funk, sour candy and tangfastics. The taste is dry, tart, bright, zingy, nip of bracing acidity, quite juicy, puckering sourness, raspberry, redcurrant, jammy, vinous, bramble, blueberry, raspberry leaf, dry oak, funk is there but more in the background that the other meerts I've had to date, hay and tangfastics with a tangy finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Very fruit forward with more limited funk than usual. Tasty.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Beer Merchants. Pours mostly clear blood red with a fizzy, pink foam topping. Lightly sweet with assertive acidity, tangy-tart berries, raspberry, redcurrant, some salt, a little sweat and funk. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Tart, quenching finish, more bright berries, very subtle jammy notes, more salty bite. Somewhat bracing but very nice overall.

Bottle, 2020-2021 bb date 24/06/2031. Color: Hazy purplish red, very pink head. Aroma: Some wild yeast funk, red fruit, lightly tart. Taste: Oak wood, farm barn funk, red fruit, fruit skin, tannins, some straw. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Over moderate tart. Medium body, just below average carbonation.
