A little cloudy dark brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: wow, lots of overripe banana, some caramel, gentle roast, some chocolate, alcohol noticeable, spices, star anise, malty, some caramel, bubble gum, a little chemical. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: wow, pretty weird, surprisingly sourish start, yeast, alcohol is very noticeable, ripe banana, lots of blueberries or blackberries, I guess that’s actually the strawberries I’m getting here? Dried fruits, caramel touch, buttery, not getting any of that coconut… Aftertaste: very acidic and unpleasant, dry, weird, tastes infected to me, rotting strawberries, banana peel, bitter touch, lots of strawberry flavoured bubble gum, weird acidity, nope, this is not good.

Hazy brown, no head. Aroma of banana candy, strawberry ice cream, caramel sauce, date, sugared peanut, mocha, clove. Taste has sweet-sour strawberry & raspberry, whiff of banana in a caramelly, brown-sugary malt body. Fruity finish, minimal herbal hops, lingering strawberry, toffee & clove, weirdly acidic still, dash of warming liqueur-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. All over the place - technically the 'Imperial Weizen' would have been interesting already without all the added flavours.

Bananiger Beginn, malzig, hefig, etwas Erdbeere. Laktose, etwas Toffee, auch die Kokosnuss ist erkennbar, spannend. Würzig, minimal bitter, erstaunlich gut ausgewogen. Würzig malziger Abgang, herb, eher trocken, mittellanger Abgang, rund. 10/11/10/11/8/10

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is strong tart raspberry, wouldn't have guessed strawberry yet, chocolate, roasty, toffee, and also no banana yet. Taste is the same, with a dash of banana in the back. Rather high carbonation, weird combo.

Aus der Dose (bbe 31.12.2023) im 2022-06 getrunken. Dieses Ale ist ein schwarzes, malzig, bitteres Irgendwas. Anfang der typisch für ein Weizen Bananennote zu endecken. Am Gaumen ist dann da die Erdbeere vordergründig. Im Abgang ist es durch die Röstaromen dann bitter. Nein sorry es ist so als ob immer eine Zutat mehr dem Bier beigemischt hat um doch noch was Besonderes zu erschaffen bzw. gar zu retten. Nein, hier wurde zuviel gewollt. Manchmal ist weniger dann doch mehr. Es bleibt ein belanglos Bier!
