Bottle from Biermarket. Aroma is grassy hops, hay, grainy malt, some bready notes. Flavour is moderate bitter and slightly sweetish. Medium body. Fine Pils, grassy and grainy.

330 ml bottle. Clear light golden with a foamy head. Grassy hops, metallic notes, straw, hay. Hoppy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry hoppy metallic bitter finish. Good Pilsner with a crisp bitterness.

Bottle online from The Trembling Madness. Pours a clear golden colour with a large foamy white head. Aromas of grains, hay, white bread and lemon. Taste is slightly herbal with more grains, white bread and a touch more lemon. Lots of grassy hops on the bitter finish. Medium body, slightly fizzy palate and fairly smooth mouthfeel. True to style. Decent and thirst quenching but just too much grassy bitterness for me personally.

Bottle. Dram Shop Sheffield. Label is different to the pic now. Has an eagle’s swede under the word Pils. Clear yellow gold. Good white foam. Nose has crisp malt. Grassy hoppage. Touch of mineral. Taste is dry and clean. Some bright bitterness. Easy drinking with foamy carbonation. Crisp bitter finish. Great pils.

0,33 l bottle from Dehlwisch, Lohne. Clear golden with a more than one finger white head. Caramel and grain aroma. Taste starts with some straw, grainy, increasing caramel, pale bread, low sweetness. Above average carbonation. Okay.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours totally clear yellow-gold with a small, creamy white head. Lightly sweet, nice dry pale biscuits, nips of straw. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Clean finish, lightly bitter, more straw, hay, biscuits. Nice and drinkable.

Directly from the bottle. Aroma and taste: crackers, bread, grass, spicy hop. Very clean. Light sweet, medium minus bitterness. Mouth feel: light to medium body, average to lively carbonation. Overall: good pilsner.

Zötler Bier Pils, Flasche von Grabsch, Berlin-Lichterfelde. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase leicht plumpes getreidiges helles Malz, Vanille, milde zitronige Note, schwacher herbaler Hopfen. - Antrunk weich getreidig hellmalzig mit feiner, delikat säuerlicher zitroniger Note. Feiner herbaler Hopfen, milde Malzsüße, Honig. Milder rezent, weich, leicht trocken. Im Abgang mild-aromatische zitronige und herbale Hopfenherbe. Im Nachtrunk nicht ganz frei von Muffigkeit. - Weiches süddeutsches Pils von feiner zitroniger Hopfenherbe, etwas breiter als sortentypisch und nicht allzu bitter. Angenehm. (19.11.2020.)
