Diamond in the Rough is a big barrel aged Imperial Stout coming in at 14% ABV, but there is nothing “rough” about it! After spending several months in some of our favorite bourbon barrels, this beer was hit with a solid dose of vanilla, dates, figs, and pistachios which add an intense dark fruit sweetness which complements the barrel character and takes the edge off the heat perfectly. Slight carb and medium to heavy body really ties it all together. Just one sip and you’ll agree. It’s a whole new world!

Tap@MBCC 2022, Copenhagen (13/05/2022) - Roasted and sweet malty with chocolate and caramel sweetness, full body, roasted and sweet bourbon and nutty malty finish. Lovely.

Tap @ MBCC 2022, blue session. Poured almost black in color. Nutty aroma with barrel notes and roastedness. Chocolate and sweetness, warmth. Tasty. Pillowy feel.

Draught @ MBCC 2022, Copenhagen. Spicy, roasty and heavy with some prunes, slightly syrupy and boozy
Taster On tap at MBCC 22. Almost Black with tan head. Roasted malts, barrell, Chocolate, bourbon. Nice one.

MBCC. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, vanilla, dried fruit and vourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with heavy alcohol. Oily. 130522
