375ml bottle from Roosters. Hazed golden colour, white foam head and aroma of lemon, citrus rind, wood, oak barrel, funk. Taste is sour, citric, lemony rind, brandy note, and woody, barrel, some funk, tannin and light bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tart soured lemon citric finish. Nicely drinkable.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 11 Apr 2023) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with citrus, lime, lemon, orange peel, oak wood and a touch of bourbon. Fruity, tart taste with notes of lemon, orange peel, lemon, oak wood, hints of bourbon or brandy, and a low bitterness. More than medium body, dry. Interesting, but really tasty with lots of citric acidity and wood. Very nice.

20th March 2023. Monthly Beer Share, Chez Sophie in Shrewsbury; five guys who love beer and talk bollox while drinking. Cheers Mark for the 375ml bottle of this: BB 31st August 2026. Misty light golden body, white head. Sour citrus fruit in the nose and taste, some spirit like influence, but just too much of a sour puss for me.

375ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, March 23. Thanks Mark for this. Misty golden pour, good head of white froth. Fantastic aroma, brandy coming through well, continuing to taste alongside some gin-like notes and mild orange hints. Balanced sourness, nicely presented.

Draft at BeerHeadz Lincoln. Aroma and taste are citrus and tangy with a sour finish. Slight pithy. Crisp body.
