Nearly black and opaque color with a huge off-white head. Nose is seeet, molasse with sugar, boozy, medicine-like. Taste is malty, sweet, strong molasse finish. Over the top.

Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of JFK10000. Shared with him, Max and Miro B. Dark brown, beige head. Malty, caramel, dark fruit, sweet, bit tart. Smooth. Full bodied.

Swing top stone jug, bought in the Marktkauf in Nordhorn. Dark brown color, hazy, no head. Low on carbon. Malt and some smoke in the aroma. Sweet flavor, malty, with smoke more noticeable. Thick and concentrated, alcoholic. The first sip is not the best, but this beer grows on you.

31-03-19 // tap at at Bierwerk Charakterbierbar Nürnberg. very dark - boozy roast malt nose with some chocolate. Boozy roasted malts, heavy, sweet bit balanced with the booze. A taster is fine. More than 100ml is sipping over a long time. Warming boozy.

Smells like overripe apricots, fermenting fruits of all kinds, apple brandy notes and flavor. Thanks again Roman for the murderbock. Surprisingly smooth considering the ratings. Didn't even drink it cold as sin.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. Dark brown colour. Aroma of malts, molasses and alcohol, a hint of fusel. Medium sweet flavour, molasses, malts and some fruit (dried and fresh), hints of oak. Much better than I feared.

Fra flaske på RBHD-treff ombord på Fridtjofen jan-17: mørkebrun med kort skum. Vinøs, kvass og fruktig aroma og smak med svisker, rosiner og røde epler. Alkoholen varmer i magen. Ganske spiss, fruktsyrlig ettersmak med ganske mange rosiner. Ikke spesielt godt, men effektivt.

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 21.01.17. Clear dark brown. Aroma of dark fruits, dates, figs and prunes. And lots of alcohol. Taste of of dry sherry and figs. Not particularly good.
