Lovely. Lots of stone fruit, like a slightly woodier, spicier fou foune. Elegant complexity, drying finish.

Bottle shared at Canti. I love it when there's an unusual twist in lambics either in methodology or ingredients, and this beer perfectly demonstrates why. The barrels show to quite an extent, providing multiple dimensions and combining nicely with the base lambic. A winner.

Flaska från Gerijptebier.nl drucken med ölföreningen. Subtila fattoner, fruktig, lättdrucken eftersom den är så fint balanserad. Mycket gott

Tasting at Ryan's; corked; bottled 17 November 2021
Hazy blond colour, with a copper hue; small, persistent head. The cork smells like glue; strong aroma from the glass, glue again (this may be the cognac); wine, herbs. Soft mouthfeel; sharp acidity, with seemingly high level of acetic acid; moderate funk, some of the typical Lambic character, bitter grapefruit.
Good, aggressive, but not elegant.

750ml (thx, Gabrieal L.!) shared with Alex and Farees @ Ryan's after crazy several weeks helping wife with her business. Bottled on 17 November 2021. Appearance: hazy straw with a white head. Aroma: funk, some fruitiness and minerals, wood. Taste: very round, fruity, more acidic than usual, some acetone. Overall: not bad, but they definitely can do better.
