Canned 07/11/2023, drunk 2/28/24. Clear, deep bronze-copper. Large, off-white head is well-retained. Malty with rich honey, caramel, biscuit, baked bread and a light dusting of herbal hops. Very clean. In flavor it's malty, with rich bread and caramel, light vanilla and plentiful biscuit. Some deep, well-integrated, lush, herbal hops add pleasing, mild bitterness and the balance is excellent with good malt depth and attenuation. Clean and satisfying.

Pour is a hazy copper with a large white head. Aroma is a nice toasted bread and a minor caramel. Flavor is the same, a nice dry toasted grain with just the right amount of sweetness on the back end. Pretty good o-fest.

Draught @ Greats of Craft (Nov 2023). Clear dark amber with a foamy beige head, caramel malt aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter caramel malt taste with light grassy hops bitterness, smooth thin body, long finish. A smooth Marzen.

Dark orange with a large fluffy head that lingered forever and left good lacing. Sweet and malty with caramel and a vegetal presence. Medium finish and body.

16oz can. A decent enough Oktoberfest. Comes off a little thin vs. most microbrew examples. Not bad, but not better than most out there. Unimpressive for TG, not that they are known for their lager game.

Pint can. Clear copper pour with a medium foamy head that slowly recedes. The aroma is mild with grains. The taste features breads, white fruits, and some caramel. Tends to be a bit on the sweet side. Bitterness is grassy, very mild and understated. The palate is full and crisp with soft carbonation. Finishes somewhat short and semi-dry/semi-sweet. Overall: Decent enough, clearly well made, I would drink the hell out of this at a party. but its not particularly distinguished either. Paired well with some pretzels. I tend to judge a brewery on how well they make a classic style, such as this, and they make a passing grade.
