Draft @ Barcelona Beer Festival 2026 - montrant 11.7%.
Noire huile de moteur, filaement huileux doré au verre, col café au lait crémeux bien tenace.
Arôme présente un gros RIS - chargé en malts - chocolat, caramel, toffee, effet un peu noix de macadamia, taosté tout en y apportant le volet délicat de la citrouille, ici pas trop sur le végétal ni sur un effet sucré trop dominant. Cela garde qd même un côté naturel sans être dans un effet pastry excessif. Le boisé en Palo Santo apporte ausis une sublime dimension tant au nez que par après en bouche.
Palais est d'une extrême profondeur au niveau des malts - cacao, chocolat noir, fève de tonka avec une certaine fraicheur, le tout apportant aussi une fine complexité de la citrouille avec ce volet végétal discret mais compacte et de suite une très belle mise en valeur du palo santo -cela donne un effet un peu épicé mais aussi d'épices liées à l'esprit hivernal.
Quelle belle surprise, je m'attendais encore à une sorte de bière 'gimmick', ici, l'ajout de barrique de PaloSando porte le tout sur qcq chose de super complexe.

Tap at Valhalla, thx Daniell! Very dark brown body, greyish head. Nicely creamy chocolate pudding aroma, mild spices. Lovely dark chocolate, low spices, creamy, well balanced, excellent stuff!

Med-thin body somehow, med-light carbonation. Med bitter, med-light sweet, good balance. Medium chocolatey, cocoa, light cinnammon, star anise, hint of coffee. No pumpkin present, I do not mind tho. Note of gingerbread. Very tasty, easy drinking too. Nice

Jet black, shinny and clean. A dark tan persistent head.
Aroma is coffe, chicory, tobacco, tonka bean, cola pop, blackcurrant.
Low carbonation. Silky onset, mellow and strong mouthfeel. Nice bitterish, long-lasting finish, with renewed tinges of coffee and pumpkin. Something tells me this ale will age splendidly.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty start, lots of alcohol, spicy, oxidized, very intense, cocoa powder and coffee notes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots and lots of tonka beans, a bit sweet, caramel, vanilla, alcohol, malty, good roast. Aftertaste: lots and lots of chocolate, tonka beans, pretty bitter, dry, coffee, more alcohol.
