Brewed with our friends Freestyle Hops during their recent visit to Vermont, Dead Flowers is an India Pale Ale featuring their select Riwaka and Southern Cross hops.
This beer is truly a beauty, presenting notes of fresh melon, tropical fruit juice, a hint of lime, and an overall experience that reminds of us of a creamsicle.
Huge thank you to the Freestyle team for working with us on this one. We had a blast with you and are already looking forward to next years visit.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark yellow haziness with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet to tart lime, floral hops, sweet melon hop tones with a mellow smooth malt
Flavor: blends the previously noted aromas to a great sweet to tart then a sturdy bitter striding in for some balance; mild finish of floral to melon to lime-like tones
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, some smoothness but also a light hop assertiveness
Overall: pretty nicely done NEIPA I would have again.

Cloudy / hazy bright gold with a bubbly white head and a soft fruit hop aroma. Fleshy fruit, tartish bitterness, a touch of white wine and floral hops going on and a dry bitter finish.

Bad Brother draught: pours light yellow with white head. Aroma is lightly tropical, papaya and mango, with hints of popcorn. Taste is lightly sweet. Low Bitterness. Pleasant fruitiness.

Refrigerated pint can poured into a glass. Hazy yellow with medium white head. Aroma is citrus hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is citrus hops.

Hazy yellow colour and medium-sized white head. Wet dog and grapefruit in the aroma. Light-bodied. Grapefruit, stonefruit, pale malts in the flavour. Basic juice.

Fra cask på The Rake (Borough Market, hvor jeg bodde i 1983/84 mens det fortsatt var et frukt- og grønnsakmarked): uklar korngul med fint skum som varer. En stjerneparade av sydfrukter, druer, aprikos og granskudd. Supersaftig og eminent forfriskende. Mild bitterhet og kjempesaftig avslutning med hint av gressløk. From tap takeover on May 17.
