Cette série de Meerts Tilquin a été obtenue par la fermentation de fruits ayant déjà été utilisés une fois. Les fruits ont fermenté pour une durée de 4 mois dans un assemblage de 80% de Meerts de 1 an et 20% d’un assemblage de différents lambics de 2 ans. Le Meerts (ou Bière de Mars) est un lambic léger en alcool, qui était à l’origine produit grâce au mout plus faible obtenu lors du rinçage des drèches. Non filtrés et non pasteurisés, ils sont refermentés en bouteille.

Dark yellow colour with thin head. Aroma has Tilquin funkiness, a chalky minerally note and a soft grape fruitiness. Taste has funk and fruit. A little gooseberry and lemon initially. Later slightly sweeter grape comes through. Clean. Dry. Refreshing. Juicy. Tart.

0,375l bottle at home. 01.06.2031. golden clear color, small white head. smells funky, vinous, white wine, stone fruits, bit salty. glorious smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes vinous, funky, earthy, subtle stone fruits, salty, white grapes. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of salt, stone fruits and vinous notes. lovely beer, taste could be a tad more spritzy, but smell was great.

375ml bottle from Radbeer. It pours clear pale straw yellow with only a tiny white head. The aroma is tangy, zingy, white wine vinegar, vinous, gooseberry, deep barnyard funk, damp hay, manure, dirty brett, pal and some fizzy sour candy. The taste is firm, dry, tart, puckering, zingy, fairly punchy acidity which dissipates, tart white grape, gooseberry, white currant, twist of lemon, dry oak, hay, lemon & lime sherbet, fizzy cola bottles, white wine, deep funk and barnyard with a drying finish. Average body and fine carbonation. Fun vinous lambic.

Bottle. Totally clear golden. This whole series pours super clear… Nice funk up front again, tannins, apple, gooseberries. There’s some grape skins but the fruit is again quite subtle. Maybe a bit less sour than other versions and more sweet and tannic. Slightly dry. Again very tasty.

Nionde och sista flaskan i Tilquins trevliga och prisvärda paket från Etre. Disig gyllengul vätska utan skum. Druvig doft med vitt vin, tanniner, gula russin och strå. En av de mer harmoniska med riktigt snygga vitvinstoner ihop med pigg lambic. Mycket gott

#saunalambic Light, sour and fruity, pretty dry. Green grapes, a touch of yeasty funk, some minerality, pretty high acidity. A bit sharp but tasty.

Flaska från Etre, 20 - 21. Gul-guldig med vit krona. Bra funk, snygg druvighet, lagom syra, stenfrukt, syrliga fruktkärnor, lagom stramt. Mycket gott.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Beer Merchants. Pours clear gold with modest effervescence and a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet with nice funk, pale wood, straw, salty sweat, nips of white grape, nice dryness. Light bodied with active carbonation. Cleansing finish, lanes acidity, good drying pale wood, subtle citrus zip, refreshing cellar funk, cobwebs. Super drinkable.

Bottle, 2020-2021 bb date 01/06/2031. Color: Clear pale golden, white head. Aroma: Funky, grapeskin, light tartness. Taste: Farm barn and horse blanket funk, grapeskin, grape, tannins, hay, wood, minerals. Dry mouthfeel. Moderate tart. Medium body, just below average carbonation. A bit weaker but still very nice version of Tilquin Oude Pinot Gris in my opinion.
