Bottle that we picked up from Dranken Vandenwoude, Veurne. Belgium. Had this Saturday 14th February 2026 at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Maserati - Rehumanizer. Very similar to the last beer from Tilquin, i.e. pours almost clear with a slim white head, in fact almost no head, carbonation isn't as spritzy here, compared to the last Tilquin this is good but it's floundering a little, yeah it's a zappy number and very and nice mouthfeel, but lacking the impact and also lasting impression of that beer. Okay less of the last beer and more of this, it's more wine territory, very tannic around the gums (not a bad thing) dry across the roof of the mouth, little furry edge, tart and tangy. Score 7.4

Bottle. Hazy golden. Bretty, Light vineous, light flowery. Medium body, spritzy, Ahoibrause fizz, a bit almond, slightly simpler than the Riesling version.

Bottled, thx Fin for sharing at the Mangled Ham 2026! Clearish golden body, head going soon. Juicy white grapes and a buncha brett in the aroma, bit herbal. Drier, more herbal and minerally bretty taste than the taste indicated, lightly astringent in the finish, low sourness. Compared to the Riesling of the same vintage it smells better, but tastes less interesting. Figures, a very good one, not a great one in my book.

375 ml bottle. Pours a bright amber with light head. Aromas of farmyard/horse piss, lemons and sharp wheaty malts. Flavors of gooseberries, lemons, reisling grapes, leather and sharp wheaty malts. Quite nice, but hard to tell from other Meerts grape variants.

Bottle, 375 ml at Ambasada. Cloudy golden with small white head. Funk, some wood, white grapes, vinous, medium sourness. Soft texture.

Poured from 375mL bottle (bb 08/06/2027). Hazy dull yellow with small white head. Gentle white grape must with tart funk underlay. Decent, but prefer some of the other Meerts renditions.

Bottled 375ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Pale golden coloured, small white head, funky and woody nose. Funky, fruity, notes of wood and light grapes with touch of stone fruits in the finish. Not so strong carbonation.

Bottle at home. Pours opaque, pale golden with no head. Nose is some vagueish musty grape character, more in the background than in the spotlight, some citric acidity, light funk, some peach? Taste is similar, fairly acidic but not as much fruit character as expected, some drying tannins in the finish, leaving a dry palate. Nothing extraordinary.
