Near black, though no head. Lots of coffee on the aroma. On the palate, coffee, a fairly rich body for a 6% stout, a touch of maple. Lots of sugar. Doing a good job of building a rich stout on a small base.

Draught @ Dive96, Manhattan. Opaque dark brown with a foamy chocolate colored head, mocha aroma, low carbonation, initially sweet mocha taste that gets medium bitter with maple syrup and banana flavors, smooth body, long sweetish finish. Well rounded.

Super deep dark brown coloured body with a very nice two to three centimetre tall light brown head that caps the 90 per cent opaque body. Aroma of very nice and super rich maple syrup, molasses, caramelised sugars, toffee, earth and roasted oatmeal with a big maltiness noticeable, but somehow more sugars originating from maple syrup and lactose - this is very nice, elegant and rich in the nose. Full-bodied; Super rich oaty and robust malts dominate here with a big chewy mouthful along with a lot of sugars showing the maple syrup, icing sugar, lactose, cream, vanilla and chocolate all here along with a hint of bitterness from the grainy malts, nuts and a little bit more from the roast - but the richness of the malt and the sugars are what defines this, in a great way. Aftertaste is super rich, and while this is listed at only 6,0 per cent, it seems like it could be 10 per cent - it's so rich, sweet and robust. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but the sugars and especially the malt body make this deep, robust and pungent throughout, and while this is great on a chilly day, it probably would be good on most days, unless those are in the summer where the warmth would make you NOT want to drink such a rich beer. Great to sample and I'll look for more from the brewery in this style/similar, as this was amazing! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 26-November-2022 sampled at my house here in Washington on 26-February-2023.

12oz can pours an oily black with a huge cap of brown head. Nose has sweetened Vietnamese style coffee, maple, brown sugar, milk chocolate. Flavor is Vietnamese coffee and banana chocolate milkshake. Creamy in the mouth but not heavy.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown with a two finger tan head that lingers. Big maple syrup focused nose with some dark chocolate and coffee underneath as it warms. More maple syrup and chocolate notes on the palate. Diner coffee notes towards the finish. Smooth and easy drinking.
