Bottle. Black. Roast, coffee and licorice in the aroma. Licorice, apple syrup and roast in the slightly alcoholic flavor. Medium bodied. Licorice and coffee in the finish. Not too sweet. Well made stout.

7/5/2019. Draft at the Porterhouse, Temple Bar. Pours almost black with a lasting tan coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and a touch of liquorice. Medium plus sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Enjoyed this, best of the 12 cask/tap beers tried tonight.

330ml bottle from Otdokhni in Moscow. Pours dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, a little smokey. Taste is slightly roasted but very watery. Has to be a bad bottle. Will have to re-review this at some point.

Draft at Porterhouse Central. Down to 6.5% and maybe still falling. Opaque brown beige head solid lacing. Cocoa powder aroma. Taste is earthy fruity coffee grounds. Got me an Untappd badge with this bad boy

Bottle at 6.5% ABV. Pours opaque deep brown to black. Small beige head that stays as a ring. Aroma: roast, vinous, ground coffee. Light to medium body. Taste: quite dry, roast and coffee, minor earth, light bitterness. A good stout. Still, in that condition, not an impy by any means.

Draft at the source. Virtually black with a creamy, tan head. Aroma of chocolate, gingerbread, anise. Taste trends sweet with milk chocolate notes. Turns bittersweet and dryer at the end. Medium body, smooth, mild carbonation. Nice!
