Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 15B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown (BBF 15.10.17). AROMA: medium roasted aroma with coffee and chocolate notes. slight nutiness and fruitiness (dried grapes) with a slight sweetness. APPEARANCE: dark brown to black color with ruby highlights. Medium moussy light brown head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium roasted notes (coffee and slight dark chocolate). medium bitterness with an almost dry and roasted/bitter finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium-low carbonation. no astringency. OVERALL: a good stout but NOT imperial (and with a bit more alcohol for the irish stout style).

Final ultra amargo. Y calenton de licor. Compleja. Fuerte. Diferente. Potente. Intensa.

Appearance is black, a one finger light brown head which settles down. Aroma- very chocolatey and milky, dark malt, fudge, caramel. Taste- big bitterness, roasty malts, coffee, chocolate, hint of leather, medium to full mouthfeel, quite a long and bitter finish, solid malt backbone. Good, maybe more stout and less imperial.

330 ml bottle 7% ABV version @ Melkebaren. Dark brown body with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted dark malt and coffee. Flavor is roasted dark malt, coffee, dark chocolate, medium bitter and rather dry. Nice and balanced body with a decent aftertaste. Not very complex, but solid work, pretty balanced where no particular flavor dominates. Enjoable.
