Barrel Aged Imperial Stout
Aged 1,5 years on American oak with a heavy degree of char, gives this stout a blend of brown sugar, butterscotch & Graham cracker with balanced sweetness.
The ABV is 15% making this a beast of a beer, however subtle enough flavors allow them to develop as the temperature changes. Basically, we have a bourbon Crème Brûlée with umami note on the end.

Shared bottle at Cardinal. Pours black with little beige head. Aroma of dark dried fruits, ethanol, chocolate, bourbon. Tastes pretty sweet with little bitterness. Medium bodied, alcoholic warmth.

Fra fat på min lokale: brunsvart med ok skum. Forførerisk aroma og farlig god smak med solbærsirup, creme brulée, bourbon, vanlije og dessertchokolader med marsipan og solbærfyll. Nightcap de luxe, really wicked. Mersmaken varte til over bybrua, så heldigvis er det foreløpig bare lørdag ettermiddag....
