500ml bottle from Rhythm and Booze - a quid! Cloudy yellow body, frothy white top. Nose is very much like a cheap shandy, lots of lemonade, can’t pick up the alleged ginger. Taste is sweet, with a little warmth at the end. But like Garrold says... it is a quid!

Bottle. Copper coloured with a small head. There’s plenty of lemon and ginger as it says on the label in both aroma and taste.

Aroma of lemon peel and lemon scented dish washing fluid. Flavour is initially like a shandy made with ’real lemonade’. Finish is quite bitter with a warming hint of ginger.

500ml bottle shared with a mate during a random beer tastine evening on 15 Feb 2013. This beer has an acquired taste and it wasn’t to my liking: it states quiet clearly on the front label there is a ’lemon and ginger’ hint, so I wasn’t surprised went I tasted the brew. Just not my ’Cup of Tea’. Dull old gold in colour with a lemon/ginger aroma and flavour throughout. Almost overpowering, but I managed my half by eating some strong Cheddar Cheese with it: not an ideal match, but it helped me through the tasting. If you are into Ginger and Lemons then this is for you, otherwise stay away (I’ve tried to score objectively).

Bottle at home in London. Lyoli tried some, didn’t really dig it. Pours rich, clear gold with a small, foamy white head. Nose holds some distinctive lemon, citrus rind, hints of ginger spice, toasted malts, leaves. Light sweet flavor, some dank, sweaty lemon, toasty bread, leafy bitterness, mild toasted grass. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Mild bitter finish, mellow sweetness, some earth and leaves, lasting lemon rind, some background ginger that provides a very light bite. It’s decent beer, although at times a touch thin and with excessive grassy hops. Still, decent.
