Unser Weißbier zeichnet sich auf angenehme „Weiße“ durch seinen weichen und milden Geschmack sowie durch seine erfrischende, champagnerähnliche Rezenz aus. Eingebraut aus fränkischem Weizenmalz und Gerstenmalz wird es obergärig mit spezieller Bierhefe bei Temperaturen um 18 bis 20 °C vergoren, um anschließend bei etwa 2 °C in Ruhe ausreifen zu können. Es moussiert zart, duftet angenehm nach frischem Weizenmalz und lädt daher schon beim Einschenken zu einem prickelnd-frischem Geschmackserlebnis ein! Die kompakte sahnige Schaumkrone gibt dem hellen, goldgelben Bier mit natürlicher Trübung seinen harmonischen Abschluss.

Geruch würzig. Sehr helle Farbe. Schön trüb. Geschmacklich findet sich etwas Getreide, etwas vergorene Frucht, minimal Balsamico. Im Mittelteil deutlich würzig. Bei normaler Trinktemperatur fand ich es nur recht durchschnittlich. Eiskalt genossen ist es jedoch herrlich süffig und erfrischend. Während andere Biere da nach nichts mehr schmecken, kommen hier alle Geschmacksnuancen in der richten Dosis durch.

Optisch gibt’s nichts auszusetzen. In der Nase Nelke/Banane, im Trunk eher bananig, gut trinkbar wenn auch recht wässrig.

Bottle. Blonde, hazy. Wheat and lemon in the aroma. Banana, lemon and wheat in the flavor. Banana sweeties and lemon in the aftertaste.

'Guest' bottle at the brewpub. Pours hazy ochre with a lasting, foamy off-white head. Straightforward aroma of banana, bubblegum, yeast, clove, bread & butter, wheat, honey. It tastes medium to heavy malty sweet, lots of banana, bread & butter, honey, and light spicy bitter, clove-like; sour wheaty accents. Dry, shortish, spicy finish, lingering wheat & yeasty banana. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Inviting sweet aroma, but not the best tastewise.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow, fine white foam. Franconian spicy aromatics: Clove, minerals, light bubblegum. Medium body, slightly fizzy. Light mealy malt, a bit fruit-salad, dry banana and spice finish.

Fles gedronken tijdens feest. Goudgeel bier met matig schuim. Aroma is fruitig en moutig. Smaak fruitig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Troebel geel bier met schuim. Smaak is fris licht zuur en fruitig. Helaas is deze wat waterig en vlak van smaak. Desondanks best goed bier.

Bottle from Bamberg train station. Cloudy gold with a frothy head. Aroma is banana. Flavour is yeasty, herbal with a smooth fruity dry finish.
