Pours dark brown. No real head. Scent is complex, dried fruit and cereal. Typical HOTD. Nice complexity and intensity. Taste is sharp, fairly bitter. Not the most intense body. Candied dried fruits. Fairly biter finish. Lovely!

Draught Small off-white rim over deep cola-coloured beer. Maple syrup, chocolate, some ureum, fodder, vinous or fortified wine. Woody, chocolate, wooden bitterness, fusels, bananapeel. Well-bodied, very viscous, alcoholheat. Severe, but still adorable.

Pretty clear dark brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: nice, dried fruits, pot pourri, a bit oxidised, raisins, caramel, malty. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: a bit sweet up front, very malty, bitter hops, dry and spicy touch, a gentle roast, quite some chocolate, coffee, bitter and a bit oxidized. Aftertaste: pretty bitter and dry, a bit spicy, some cloves, star anise, gentle roast, some coffee, bitter finish, good one, I love it!
