Bruce’s Birthday Bash at the Craft Clerkenwell. Thanks to Bruce again! The Eric Cantona looky likey threw me for a bit! Very hazy amber beer. Small suddy cream coloured head. Light and slightly dry. Mild sourness, fresh raspberry. A little lemon. Zingy. Mild seltzer minerals. Semi dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle at CBC - Clerkenwell, London during Bruce’s 30th Birthday Party. Many thanks to Bruce! Pours cloudy gold with a fine, white cream cap. Big acetic fruit aroma. Medium sweet flavor with big tangy bite, some juicy berries, mellow dryness. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Pungent tartness to finish, more acetic zing, lemon, berries. Massively tart beer.

Bottle at Bruce’s 30th, massive thanks to the main man himself! It pours hazy golden with a small off-white head. The nose is creamy, raspberry yoghurt, dark cherry, fresh sour fruit and plum skin. The taste is tart raspberry, puckering lemon, oak, Granny Smith apple, apricot, sour peach, faint vinegar and sherbet with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Lovely sourness, crisp, refreshing and damn delicious! Not particularly complex, but very drinkable.

Bottle shared at tasting at my house. Pours amber brown with tan/off white head. Nose and taste of tart raspberry, funky wood, wild yeast, light cherry vinegar tartness, light caramel and aged oak. Medium body. Well balanced tartness - not overpowering. Raspberry shines through a bit more than the cherry.

750mL pours with an opaque copper body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma seems flower pedal like with a bit of sweetness and vinegar and passion fruit. The taste is similar as flowery notes quickly meet brown sugar dissolved in vinegar. In the background are murmurs of vague fruitiness.

750mL bottle, sent from julian (thanks a lot man), pours an opaque dark orangey amber with no head. Fantastic aroma of various berries (cherries and raspberries come to mind), low tartness, and oak. Flavour is less monolithicly fruity, with oak barrels, cherries, raspberries, and some acetic tones - only a slight tartness. Finishes slightly tart, moderately acidic, and berry-centric fruity. Excellent stuff.
