Can at home in London picked up from Streatham M&S 07/08/2023 Sweet dark and light roasted malty with lots of sweet chocolate, some tart cherry notes then coming in, medium body, cherry and chocolate infused sweet malty finish. 440ml can from M&S I guess! Poured a clear dark brown colour with a short-lived, fizzy, off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt and cherries. The flavour is light sour and roasted malt, with a somewhat light, smooth, tart cherry, light liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I’m no fan of fizzy stouts that lack body.

Can from Marks & Spencer in Rickmansworth, Herts. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Sweet, chocolate, cherry, blackberry taste/aroma. Pleasant enough but very sweet.

44cl can, du M&S pas loin de notre hôtel à Earl's Court.
Cuivre/brune, col crémeux café au lait tenace crémeux.
Arôme est sur un bouquet agréable - grillé, chocolaté avec un agréable fruité de cerise qui arrive en retrait et vient sublimé ce côté chocolat/fruité pour un clin d’œil de dessert.
Palais présente un agréable caractère grillé et chocolaté avec un effet gateau au chocolat avec ce léger apport fruité de la cerise - ici, l'usage de jus de cerise change d'un apport fruité naturel. L'apport également de lactose est discret et procure cette légère sensation de 'cake'. Petite note aigrelette des fruits - cerise et mûre.
Pas mauvaise, mais il manque une petite touche pour la propulser plus haut.

Can from Ocado. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is black cherries, coffee, blackcurrant, raisin, chocolate. Same sort of action in the taste with a spot of smoke coming up the rear (ooer!). Long sweet finish.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from M&S HC. Pours black-brown with a small, creamy beige head. Light-medium sweet flavour with tang dark fruits, a little toffee, nips of toasted malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, some berries, chocolatey accents. Tasty stuff.

Can. Nose is chocolate, cherry, blackcurrant, caramel, slight wafer. Taste is jammy, cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant, ribena, slight metallic, almost sour tangy note in the fruity finish.
