Lattina. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dall'orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine, con carbonazione abbondante. Il liquido appare trasparente. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza, con carbonazione persistente. Il colore è giallo dorato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, pane, biscotto, frutta secca, erbaceo ed agrumi.

Can at BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Nicely grainy malt aroma, bit sweetish with straw, noble hop. Moderate bitter, mild sweetness. Medium body. Pleasant.

Can at home picked up from HOTM I think. An attractive bright golden coloured pour with a lasting fluffy pure white froth. Aroma is cracker, grassy hop. dusty hay, spicy noble hops. Flavour is composed of nice rustic cereal grains, cracker, straw, grassy hop, firm bitterness. cut grass, spicy, Palate is semi crisp, loght sweetness,

440ml can. Slightly unclear golden with a small foamy head. Loads of hay, grain, cereal and bread, grassy hops, citrus notes, some basement notes, wood. Dry bitterness, malty grainy sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy grainy bready finish. A beer that really deserves its name. Excellent.

Can which I think that I picked up from Bierkiste, München but equally it could have been from a recent online order at Beyond Beer website, anyhow I consumed this at home Monday 12th December 2022 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music and warming up a homemade Thomasina Miers, Chilli con Carne with Tortilla Wraps, Guacamole, Sour Cream and Salsa. Pours warm gold with a white head. Quite malty as one might expect but also with a decent background hoppiness that shows itself frequently but plays it's part as opposed to being too pushy. Pleasant sweetness, a little grainy, overall quite a more'ish' beer, like this.

0.44 l can from 'AleHub', best before July 2023. Almost clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, slightly grassy aroma of lemon peel, pineapple, gooseberry and light honey. Slightly sweet, gently bitter, quite fruity-floral taste of lemon peel, gooseberry, pineapple, some grains and light honey, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice hoppy lager, not really what you'd expect from a beer labelled 'Festbier'.
