Can to shaker. Pours a hazy, dark lemon yellow with a half finger of thick white head. Aroma is citrusy, fruity and tropical. Taste follows suit, pineapple and lemon zest dominate. Light bodied, medium carbonation and a somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Decent overall, nothing to seek out in my opinion but I’d have no issue drinking a couple.

Can, from Whole Foods, Manhattan NYC. Pours cloudy pale lemon yellow with a small foamy whitish head, citrus-pineapple aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter lemon peel taste, faint pineapple, thin body, long lemon peel finish. Smooth and easy to drink.

can. Hazy yellow pour with a medium sized white head that has fair retention. The aroma is big with floral perfume and some orange citrus. The taste, like the aroma, was floral and citrus. The palate is a bit thin and crisp. Finished thankfully short. Overall: Not to my taste preferences.

From a can it smells like cheap perfume. Pour is hazy pale with a foamy head that fades rapidly. Taste is nasty perfume bitter hops, quite rude. How many of these voodoo rangers are they going to make? How many of them taste the same? NB thinks they found a cash cow. Just one rude ass voodoo ranger after another. So be it. I just wish Vodoo, my local brewery, would sue them for using their name; cease and desist. Well, anywho, the perfumy taste that carries over from the olfactory, almost makes this stuff undrinkable. One rude ass brew. Forgettah-bouttit, unless you want to experience a mouth coating gag reflex. There, you have it, the thoughts of a lager lover.

Jesus. Remembering when NB used to be a respectable brewery, not an assembly line for overly sweet, artificial-tasting crap IPAs. From the label: “India Pale Ale With natural flavors”. Fuck this. There’s a million IPAs on the market wringing a fruit salad’s worth of flavors out of hops, and NB is using a bunch of extracts out of white buckets to brew their beer. Fuck off.

Pours thick amber with a huge white head. Aroma of melon and guava. Taste has starfruit, guava, anise, tons of tropical fruit. Palate has lingering fruit that permeates the nasal cavity, some citrus and pine. Excellent.
