A moreish dark mild. Full of character, with a delightful blend of roasted malted barley and hops to create a luxurious finish.

Beige head on a dark brown body, malty but watery and weak flavoured. Slight chocolate and earthy notes but all a little bland and end of the barrel like.

Black with a thick creamy head. Has some mild malts and mild roasted as well as burn aromas, but not much flavour. It’s lovely and smooth in the palate.

Cask-conditioned at the Black & Gold beer festival, the Gryphon, Bristol 2/9/2012. Near black with a slight, off-white head. Sweet caramel and dark fruit aromas. Flavour also started sweetish, before a tangy edge and dryish finish. Ok.
