A Cognac, Sherry, and Islay whisky BA Imperial Porter.

Taste: Sweet reds fruits pair with an iodine-like salinity, reminiscent of a a campfire on the beaches of Islay. Poached pears, winter spices, and cloves join in with a hint of berry-like acidity. Vinous tannins round out the taste, with a smooth malty sweetness to finish.

Appearance: Jet black with a dark brown head.

Nose: Rich smoked malts and vinous cognac combine with hints of plum and raspberry jam.

Bottle @ Kollund, trade by Ascelja and Rotin, huge thanks. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, light caramel, sherry, dried fruit, light smoke. Flavor is sweet, mildly smoked, roast malt, sherry, dried fruit, prunes, barrel, light whisky. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet light smoked finish with a little warming alcohol. 111024

Smell- weak malt, weak caramel, weak burn, very faint gasoline. Foam- thin-ish, malt, weka caramel, weak alcohol, weak roast. Head is small, dark brown head. Appearance - brewer bottle cap, wax sealed, simple label with some fire. Black in color, no visible carbonation. From - tulip Taste - weak malt, weak caramel, weak roast, weak bitter tones, then some alcohol. Smokey and roastry with some booze and bit of sweetness.. Strong, not bad but will not search again. Not easy drinking.

Två Pohjala testas ihop med peter tittandes ut över skärgården och öland. Ja här kommer lite pilsnerton och cognac samt lite ek. Relativt torr rackare . Peter älskade den ihop med gouda och cognacs marmelad. Lite annorlunda öl spännande smak. Bra men långt ifrån de bästa pohjala..

Bottled 330ml. Dark brown colour and tiny beige head. Roasted, bold, sherry and peaty aroma. Full-bodied. Sweetish, toasted, peat, sherry in the flavour. Nice.

Bottle @ company tasting. Dark brown body under a small beige head. Aroma of dark malt, mild smoke, chocolate and pleasant alcohol for the high ABV. Taste is smooth, sweet, dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, mild Islay impact, oak, balanced bitterness and warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting pleasant aftertaste.

Black with a brown head - DArk malt aroma with some barrel notes - Dark malt body with some dark fruity tones and a nice bareel flavour - This was good
