On tap @ Dr. Beer. Orange golden body under a light, white head. Aroma is light fruity with honey. Taste is sweet malt, ripe fruit and earthy spices. Balanced bitterness. Nice and easy.

On tap at Dr. Beer. Fruity, with a citrus touch. Funk hints, not much kveik impact. Cellar, fruit, decent bitterness. Nice indeed. 747414 251108

Sampled as 'Weapon Of Choice' but seemingly, there only is one version. Pours a bit hazed blonde, small white head fades fast. Scent is raw and rough, malty, orange-citrussy hops. Taste is full, intense on the palate, yet feels much lighter than 9% - or the style (sold as a TIPA) . Fairly low bitterness. More malty, Barleywine-like at times, but still a touch more hoppy indeed. Not very thick. Easy drinker, somehow. A bit too high ABV for what it is , and I'm very puzzled to how this even remotely resembles champagne...

4/I/23 - on tap, shared @ dr. Beer (Antwerpen), BB: n/a (2023-19)
Sold as TIPA, not as “Brut”.
Clear orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: malty, grains, hay, a bit grassy, yeasty touch. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: alcohol, yeast, pretty bitter, grassy. Aftertaste: dry, more alcohol, bitter, a bit malty, grains, meh. Pretty boring. By no means the TIPA it was advertised as, nor the "bitter Belgian tripel" which it was sold as by the bar tender.

Draught Fully hazy orange beer, exhibiting some Grünstich , under a small whitish rim. Very citrussy nose, orange & lime, citruspeel, maybe a tad mineral. Dry orange flavour - bit like orange-flavoured pharmaceutical powder dissolved in water - also not too carbonated. Very fruity, there is sugar underneath but falls away quickly, only to return in the aftertaste. As said, dry, with a palate that gives a somewhat empty impression, whereas the MF shows some body. Almost undercarbonated - certainly when Champagne was aimed at. Fruitier than most Brut beers, but I still don't get it. Why absolutely wanting to emulate fizzy wine with beer, whilst beer in itself is equally worthy?
