Nose is chocolatey caramel turtle, smells sweet. Wow that's a dessert, super sweet, cocoa flavor, decent bitterness that doesn't balance it completely. Yeah a bit salty but not too soy. Good one!

Keg at Mad Squirrel, Watford, Herts. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, caramel taste and aroma. Pleasant imperial stout which was easy to drink.

440ml can from Mad Squirrel, Watford. Poured a clear, almost black colour with a short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, dark chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, light liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, roasty, liqourice, light toffee caramel, warm alcohol bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Very nice, but not really as advertised on the can. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bust Le Milli on 02 Jan 2023 at 17:48 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7. Can at home, picked up from MS HW, 22/12/22. Black with a decent tan head that settles to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, caramel, mellow roast, light spice, dried fruit rinds, honeycomb. Taste comprises chocolate, salted caramel, light roast, charr, brown sugar dusting, faint coffee, light spice. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light kiss of alcohol. Decent well balanced pastry affair ... doesn't get silly sweet like some salted caramel numbers can.
