Wycinanki is our Piwo Grodziskie, representing a style with an over 700-year history from its native Poland. Known affectionately as "Polish Champagne," it is brewed with smoked wheat malt, and Poland-grown Lubelski hops. Pouring a beautiful yellow color into the glass, it carries intense notes of smoke and bready malts on the nose. The flavor is much softer, with notes of white wheat and noble hops gently washing over your palate propelled by Champagne-like carbonation. This is a beautiful beer that affords us the chance to celebrate a nearly forgotten style, represented with character and grace. Enjoy!

Pours light gold into a willi. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to nothing. Sweet marshmallow and mild smoke aromas. Medium bodied with sourdough and smoke upfront turning to earthy honey and multigrain in the medium lasting finish.

16oz can. Clear gold, a little white head. Minerality in the nose, the smoke isn't necessarily presenting, more malt and some lemon. Wheat and smoke in the flavor. Clear. Dry. 7 3 7 3 12

Tap @ Tree House, Sandwich, MA in a plastic cup on the balcony. Pours a hazed golden yellow with a good white head. Pleasant smoky nose, just enough. Wonderfully balanced smoked presence to taste, soft wheaty elements, soft fruity sweetness, perhaps a hint of citrus and distant honey.. and quite refreshing too. Very well done.

TH Wycinanki
@Tree House Tasting at Johnny's. Very pale yellow color, small white head. Aroma is a bit smokey. Odd. Flavor is smokey, somewhat bitter, something weird I can't really put my finger on. Bleh. Not my thing at all. 5-4,5-4,5-5-5

Pours a slightly hazy, very pale yellow, with big head that dissipates rapidly. Aroma is smoke and wheat elements--some fruit esters, some grainy notes. Flavor is strong smoke, with some fruity wheat elements. Mouthfeel is fairly crisp. Interesting.

Canned October 2022, drunk 11/20/22. Clear brass-blonde. Large, fluffy, well-retained, white head. Smokey nose is rich and intense, oh yeah! Big mineral right next to it with soft, nutty wheat and little hop character. Black pepper, light, delicate honey and just a touch of fruitiness from the yeast. Clean, no alcohol or flaw. Soft, wheat-heavy, slick and well-attenuaed. Honey-like malt, peppery, rich smoke and light biscuit with hints of fruitiness and, what I like best, low lemon. Often times these contemporary renditions are super heavy on lemony acidity, which isnt awful, but it's nice that its more of a hop and lactic bitterness. Soft wheat lingering gently, rich in flavor. No flaw, alcohol. Really, really well-constructed. Having just had Schilling's Pivo Gradziskie, I think TH has done an even better job with this that Schilling has with theirs. Which is an incredibly high bar to clear.
