(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 10 Nov 2022) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with grapefruit, mango, pineapple and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, lychee, mango, pine needles, lemon, resin and a generous citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing, with a rich hop character. Very nice.

Monthly Beer Share, Chez Sophie in Shrewsbury; 27th February 2023, five guys who love beer. Cheers Mat for this can, I've failed to get to Protokoll when in Berlin, so really pleased to see one of their beers turn up at a tasting. Light haze to the misty golden body, wispy white head. Piney hop bitterness from start to finish, in the aroma too, it's hoppy!

440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Feb 23. Brought by me. Pours a misty gold with a medium-sized white head. Big hop resins on the nose. Taste packs a punch as well, with a fair whack of hops... floral sweet with sticky resinous moments, pine with distant herbaceous hints. Decent.

hazy golden to orange colour, medium sized dense white head; aroma of grapefruit, pine resiny, mango, and slight pineapple notes; taste is hop-dominant with similar notes to the aroma but much less intensity; correct one but for sure not among the best IPAs I've tasted

440ml can. Slightly cloudy, orange, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity and slightly piney hoppy aroma, citrusy fruity overtones, pale and minimally caramel malty background, notes of melon, a perfumed touch of lychee, some woody pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine and lemon; partially perfumed character of the lemon flavours as well. Taste is bitter, (citrusy) fruity hoppy with light mineral and soapy aspects, oily hints of lemon, grapefruit, very light jelly bear character, pale malty basis without residual sweetness; lingering, pungent, bitter hoppy and mineral finish. Watery-oily texture, dry, slightly pungent, simultaneously minimally greasy palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Crisp, bitter, a bit light and narrow, rather oily (vs. juicy) character of the fruit flavours (hop oils, yeah, I heard about), like lamp oil, viscous and condensed - quite OK.
