Apoldaer Tradition, Flasche von Nahkauf, Mellingen. - Kupferbraun, hefetrüb. - In der Nase warm toastiges Malz, dezente überreife Frucht, hintergründig hopfenwürzige Herbe und zarte ranzige Noten, die den Reiz aber nur steigern. - Antrunk rund toast- und dunkelmalzig, nussig, mild karamelsüß, mit dezenter zitrusfruchtiger Hopfenherbe. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang leicht trockene, verhalten hopfenwürzige Herbe. - Rundes, tief malzaromatisches Bier mit hintergründiger, eleganter Hopfung, das einem guten Frankenlager ähnelt. Bottle from Sagasser Getränkefachmarkt, Erfurt. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and a little red fruit. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 110717

0,5 l bottle. An unclear amber in the glass, more than one finger beige head. Caramell on the nose. Taste starts with sweet malt and caramell, grain, but also present hop bittereness in the second row. Too dominating bitterness in the aftertaste, less real taste.

Dunkler, etwas muffiger Antrunk. Wenig malzig, trocken, herb. Die Malzigkeit wirkt halbherzig, minimal röstig, zu trocken. Das Malz wird zum Ende etwas würziger, der Nachgeschmack ist somit angenehm. Dennoch nicht sonderlich. 10/6/8/9/11/7

Thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle. Dark amber in the glass, smooth malty nose. The beer starts smooth, malty. Not very deep, but dry. The aftertaste is smooth, malty-dry. Not too bitter, but also not very deep.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig herb, grasig. Geschmack herb, malzig, grasig.

500ml bottle. Filmy copper colour with average to huge, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Caramel malty aroma with a grainy touch. Taste is monotonously, minimally sweet caramel malty, dry hoppy counterpart with a husky touch, dry, slightly soapy finish.
