50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 21.03.2013
Aroma has berries typical to Danish ales, some rhubarb and roasted notes. Flavour has roasted malt, berries and hints of solvent. Feels a bit tart. A bit too much savors here.

Bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass wonderful, brownish-red, modest turbid, nice head. Starts nicely spicy, notes of cinnamon and other christmas spices, not too dry. Finish mild and very well balanced, a bit earthy, still wonderful spicy. A great beer!

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Hazy orange body topped by a small, beige head. The aroma has a little off-flavor, quite papery, with pale malts and hints of fruits. Malty flavor with caramel, dried fruits, fresh fruits and a fruity, bitter finish. Medium body. The beer had that papery touch all the way, that’s not a good thing. Still, it wasn’t all bad. 091024

Bottle: Copper coloured, a bit hazy, smaller, at the end persistent, slightly lacy off-white head; solid sweet dark-malty and toasty nose with a light fruity touch; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; sweetish dark-malty finish, balanced by a light hoppy bitterness. A pleasant brew.........

Bottle, 5.0%. Herbal aroma. Hazy amber colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is quite bready. Vinous finish, even a hint of diacetyl. Does not taste fresh, even though it is not past BB date.
