Foggy gold colour with a moderate white head. Nose: clean biscuit malt, quite a bit of high quality British floral hop. Taste: clean, malty and hoppy. Biscuit, blossom, spicy notes. Light bitterness. A good golden ale.

From the cask at the Olde Dolphin Inne on my Derby visit in Dec 2019. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of light citrus, flora, cereal, grain & hops. Moderate body. Light bitter finish

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear gold, small white head, ok retention. Citrus, pine, zest, apricot and spice on the nose. Bitter from the off, zesty, pine, tangy fruit, dry. Medium bodied, smooth, lively carbonation. Good.

Cask at White Hart, Sedgley. Aroma is lightly spiced and herbal. Clear gold. Thick foamy white head. Flava matches aroma eith added citrus and underlying caramel. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Fine.

Cask at Thomson’s Bar together with Craig, middle April 24. Hayish nose. Pale golden, offwhite cream. Neutral, light doughy, hay, medium light, a bit grass, lemon balm, quick finish.
