Sampled at Billie's 2018. Black with dark, creamy head. Aroma and flavour are strong with sweet, caramelised sugars. Thick, rich and oily. Boozy and warming.

Thanks! Sampled draft @ Billie’s Beer Festival 2018. Day 2. Black syrup with no head. Nose is boozy sugar, mocha, thick maple and almond. Taste is alcoholic boozy ice coffee, sugar, thick molasses, candy, toffee, massive, highly tasty.

Draft at Billie’s Beer Festival ‘18. Black with a ring tan head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, coffee and light roast. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Clear black beer, no head. Aroma: nice, lots of coffee, very roasted, bit dusty, cocoa powder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of coffee, caramel, mocha, sweet, slightly sourish. Aftertaste: bitter, more coffee, all coffee. Not a big fan of coffee.

Pours black, no real head. Smell is roasty, sweet, thick. Taste is full, sweet, intense, roasty, a bit ashy, some coffee, mild syrupy ( soy sauce).

Inky black, no head as poured. Mostly caramel and molasses, nicely and bigly sweet. The taste is also mostly malts and molasses based and those 22% abv a re not going totally out of control but uit feel the heat. A good one.
