Bottle. Very dark. Soy sauce, licorice, leather. Creamy, surprisingly fluffy, chalky dark chocolate, dry.

Bottle at Ratebeer München Tasting Tuesday 31st January 2023. Pours black with a beige head. There is a coffee aroma with a little dusty hop, good body, a thin coffee and maltiness throughout, some bitter chocolate, oatmeal probably adding a little creaminess but not as much as expected. Good beer, cheers Mr Nicolai for bringing this one over last week.

Bottle. Darkest brown color with beige head. Aroma is cereals, chocolate, bready. Taste is the same, with a dash of a tart edge. Chewy mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Not bad.

Black. Aroma is salt licorice iodine melasses. Taste is heavy iodine and light salty melasses. Quite some carbonation and not too heavy. Has some character but not my type.

Bottle. Dark brown, dark brown cream. Dry salt licorice and dark chocolate notes. Medium to full chewy dry body, nice dry roast, chocolate, grains, chocolate retronasal. Nice.

Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. Light gusher. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of prune and leather. Taste is liquorice and more prune. Light roasty finish.
