Bottle 202 of 206, Ardbeg Second Edition, shared at HopDog. Thanks, Gregor! Pours cloudy walnut brown. Aroma is chestnut caramel, oak; and a hint of smoke, also the whiskey comes through nicely. Taste is on the front sparkle sweet and bitter, then sour, deep moorish peat and charred ash tobacco, finally chalk and heat, toasted bread, melanoidin and butter caramel.

Bottle 202/206, huge thanks Gregor! Shared with him, Jonas and Ursula. Misty brownish body, off-white head. Bacon, buttery notes, smokey, some barrel. Tart, almost sour berry and pear taste, pears, fresh, a bit fruity, tasty but... Imperfect.

Bottle at HopDog, danke Gregor! Iodine, seaweed smoke, butter and cream nose. Milky brown, offwhite cream head. Salty, singed seaweed, tart roast, plenty of umami, sourness in the middle, intense but dry and easy enough to drink in the end. Quite a ride.
