Our goal is sophisticated complexity and intense satisfaction! Fermented with both Belgian and British ale yeasts for the perfect blend of spicy and fruity, and brewed with German and Czech hops plus 2 types of Belgian candi syrup. Then perfectly finished with extended aging in very special, super aromatic Bourbon barrels that are so hard to get they are rare as eagles!

Bottle. Brown amber. Leather and chocolate. And booze. Sparkly creamy, boozy, heavy. American oak bourbon. Very sweet.

Big bottle at the Christmas Tastin'. Clear slightly-reddish brown, no head, with nice sherry-lookin' legs. Nose is toffee-butterscotch-vanilla, oaky with bourbon notes, hints of cherry, just massive. The flavor is just an explosion of flavor, it's like an Eisbock of barrel aged barleywine in concentrat'd flavor (all of the above plus malty biscuit). Nice buttery-bourbon flavor. How do you get so much refin'd flavor in one beer? I guess that's the hoppin' secret.

Bottle. Dark orange chestnut, low head. Vanilla, strawberry wood nose. medium full, oaky berry, vanilla, light roast, chocolate, pure, but bright wood notes, pleasant port booze. A small sip is enough though.

Bottle. Deep ruby color with almost no head. Aroma is intense raisin syrup, vanilla, oak, very rich, albeit also very sweet. Taste is sweet raisins, raspberries even, toffee, coconut. Viscous oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very good, albeit very sweet!

Can. It pours a clear dark chestnut body under a thin rim of off-white bubbles. The aroma is quite boozy, with brown sugar, citrus, pine cones and some resin. Some woody notes and a good dash of caramel. It's full-bodied, warming and smoothly carbonated, quite sugary, in a nice way though, with some bitterness to balance it. The flavor has lots of caramel, without being too sweet and sticky, bitterness to deal with it, citrus, pine cones, brown sugar and a light woody note. Bourbon hints too. Some dried fruit towards the finish. A bit too sweetish in the finish, else it's a wonderful beer to share. 221113
