Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep black, nice small head. Mild malty roasty aroma. Starts mild, fine malty, not too roasty. Some hints of chocolate, some cocoa. Mild bitterness in the background. Finish well balanced. Not too sweet. Nice.

Mycket gott

Bottle, danke Günther! Very dark brow, creamy tanned head. Flowery hoppy, juicy, roast nose. Medium body, mellow, caramel creamy base, light metallic dry roast, juicy malt, quick finish. Quite drinkable.

Fläschla: Almost black, presumably hazy (trüb), smaller off-white head, mild to moderate sweetish toasty-fruity nose, grainy and dusty background; mild to moderate - again - sweet-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied, pretty soft; lingering sweet-bitter - a bit drier indeed - toasty and fruity finish. Pleasant franconian stuff...

Dark brown with a frothy, lightly beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, burnt cola, and mixed grains. Taste is very mildly sweet up front, dry and grainy at the back. Medium-bodied, slightly watery texture. Ok.

500ml bottle. Quasi black colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white to beige head. Slightly grainy, malty and slightly roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of coffee and chocolate, some toffee. Taste is sweet-ish and roasty, chocolately, dark malty, hints of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, some coffee, a touch of dark caramel and toffee. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, soft carbonation. Nice composition combines sweet-ish chocolately and bitter roasty, dark malty aspects in an harmonious way - good!

0,5 l bottle from a local Hol´Ab! market. Dark brown with red edges. Small one finger beige head. Smells malty with some sweetness. Smells also malty, first some fruity elements followed by increasing roasted malt. Low carbonation. Nice an easy drinking stuff.
