4 December 2022. Merry on the Prairie #2 @ Hal 16. Thanks, Jasper, and cheers to the crew!
A: hazy red, no head.
A: cherry candy, vanilla, yoghurt, raspberry.
T: sweet-sour cherry, raspberry, pudding, vague cinnamon.
F: tart cherry, syrup & vanilla.
P: medium body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation.
Quite delicious but also messy.

355ml can. Sweet, heavy with cherry juice notes, cinnamon, nutty notes, nutmeg, vanilla and mild tartness. A bit weird.

Canned 12/22/21, drunk 4/3/22. Lightly cloudy, bright, red cherry color with light magenta and a small, pink-tinged, white head that slowly fades to a ring. Tons of vanilla and cinnamon bolster the lovely cherry notes. Meaty, pulpy, authentic and aromatic with no twangy sourness, syrupy sugar or big lactose notes and no alcohol noted. In the mouth it's surprisingly dry with round, meaty, flavorful cherry notes with just the perfect amount of cinnamon that augments instead of distracts from the cherries. Soft vanilla, juicy cherry and light-to-moderate lactose-like creaminess. Could do without that last one, but I love the cherry and spice character with a supple, well-attenuated maltiness.
Deep purplish red pour. Sour fruit flavor. Sweet finish with lactose. No carbonation. Like a smoothie.

12 oz. Aroma has notes of cinnamon, toast, cherry, vanilla. Pours opaque brick red with a small pinkish white head that falls into a ring immediately. Taste is lightly sour (5/10), fairly sweet with a hint of hop bitterness; flavors of the listed adjuncts. Pecans are pretty faint, though. Mouthfeel is a tad velvety, a tad watery. Not nearly as tasty as the aroma let on, but it ain't bad.
