Can from Brygshoppen. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy brown. Aroma and taste are rich bourbon, fruits, vanilla, caramel, yeast, malt and hops. Nice bourbon finish.

Can courtesy of Saxo. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, wood and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. 220423

33cl Blik van Drankgigant. Donkerbruine kleur, khaki kraag. 1e indruk is van lijm, gelukkig vervliegt dit snel, daarna caramel, donker fruit, vanille, hout, bourbon, alcohol, licht kruidig van de rogge, bitterzoet. Doet een beetje Quad-achtig aan. Lekker, maar nog iets te scherp en ongebalanceerd.

Can sample at a tasting at Amit A's place. Hazy deep amber. Lots of acetaldehyde, pear, malt, some caramel, alcohol, a bit of vanilla, some soy sauce, sweet and slightly umami.

Brown colour, thin head. Aroma has lots of woody notes from the barrel. Sweet taste. Port and vanilla. Taste misses some of the wood that is so present in the aroma. So a bit sweet overall.

Pours a mostly clear reddish brown colour and a dense light beige head with a small layer retention. Aroma's: sweet, fruit candies, boozy. Retronasal follows this. Flavour is sweet, fruity, boozy. Above medium bodied. Long finish, toffee-ish.

Can. Hazy deep amber brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and fairly dry and has a good fine minerally crispness. Malts are dry but bringing a little creamy sweetness and good amount of caramel. The barrelling is rather nice. Oak induced vanilla into well rounded fruity bourbon that is not too hot or spicy. Touch of damp wood and then a fairly dry finish that reveals mild esters Slightly warming linger. A barleywine that exists to show off the barrel and nothing wrong with that when you get the barrelling as on point as this.

Roodbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is krachtig warm envrij zoet met duidelijk whiskey, wat rozijnen en vanille.
