12oz can consumed 2/18. BB 5/18. Clear golden. Lots of dry green peppercorn in aroma. Otherwise, light sweet and slick triple. Needs something more but fine 837315

Rich hazy golden and orange coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of light yeast, coriander seed, breatd, hay, grass and a noticeable amount of pepper and other light spices. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong yeastie and hay/dry flavour of malt and some subdued bready and bitterness flavours. Aftertaste shows some of the peppercorn spice, a touch of the grain shows through, a little sweetness from honey and finishing with a mellow complexity and dose of body. Overall, a nice rich beer that shows a lot of flavours and richness along with an easy-to-drink feel, not typical for the style. I sampled this fourteen ounce pour on draught at Farmers, Fishers, Bakers in Washington, DC on 05-February-2017 for US$10,00.

750 ml bottle from State Line, 9/1/15. Total gusher, probably lost 2 ounces on the floor. Hazy yellowish-orange color with a rather fizzy head. Lots of vegetation comes through with the strong (and expected) peppery flavor. A bit of the yeast profile and fruity profile of a tripel come through, but, at the same time, you might not call this out as specifically an example of the style. Decent, solid, with a nice mouthfeel, but not a favorite of mine.

Good stuff. Perfumy, with good florals. Some coriander. Not a huge amount of pepper here. Light sweet finish. Bottle.

Botle thanks to Frank and Caitlin! Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice light fruit note with a good amount of sweet grains a hint of pepper and clove. Flavor starts with sweet grains and light fruits with a decent amount of grass and grain in the finish.

Bottle from Food and Friends in Philly. Pours a brilliantly clear light golden color with a huge fluffy white head that slowly dissipates to a cap on top. Smells of pepper mostly, with hints on yeasty esters and a touch of sweet honey like malt. The flavor is heavy on the pepper with a sweet bready honey like malt flavor and a bit of spicy yeasty phenols to round it all out. Medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a sweet slick bubbly mouthfeel. Nice beer I’ve been wanting to try this forever. Its very heavy on the pepper, I felt that a bit more sweetness might have helped to counter that a bit but it was good as is.
