Barbarian Fishing, the OG of our NEIPA stable, is a big and bold double IPA that ticks all the boxes on the hazy checklist; creamy, juicy, fruity, malty, brimming with hop aromas. We include a bit more bitterness than some other NEIPA to make it super more-ish. Each version is made with a different hop combination, this time El Dorado & Cryo Pop.

On tap at Craft and Draft, Amsterdam on 25th November 2023. Thickly hazy amber with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Tropical fruits aroma. Intense tropical fruits in-mouth with zesty peel and smoky spices. A finish dominated by spicy grassiness. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. An adventure.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 16 Feb 2023) Cloudy brownish yellow colour with lasting, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with mango, pineapple, orange and passion-fruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of mango, pineapple, orange, passion-fruit, pine needles and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh, hoppy and juicy. Very nice.

Pours a murky golden colour and a frothy off-white head with little retention. Aroma's of dank hops and some juicy fruit, slightly vegetal. Retronasal it's superdank and juicy, resinous. Flavour is light sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Light hopburn (I poured everything from into the glass, to the last drop). Moderate bitter finish, and, of course, a great burp.

Can. Color: Very hazy orange, like orange juice, thin white head. Aroma: Hoppy, mango, sweetish tropical fruit. Taste: Smooth, hoppy, mango, overripe pineapple, orange. Bit resinous. Orange peel towards and at the finish. aModerate sweet, moderate bitterness. Decent, smooth and quite dense (wheat and oat) malty background. Just over medium body, just below average carbonation. Dry-ish bittery (over moderate bitter) finish. Nice.
