Pours black, medium small tanned head. Scent is intense, cocoa, nesquick, milkshake. Taste is full, over-the-top-chocolate. Misses some balance to me, but I like it nevertheless.

Can from Casc, Aberdeen. It pours oily deep brown to black with a well appointed deep tan head. The aroma is sweet, oily, unctuous, decadent, rich roasted malt, chocolate gateaux, coffee, mocha, vanilla fudge, maltesers, caramel, biscuit and biscoff. The taste is slick and thick, intense sweetness, rich roasted malt, dark roast coffee, espresso, plenty of chocolate, gateaux, vanilla cake frosting, triple shot mocha, Colin the caterpillar cake, mars bar, malt loaf, biscoff, hint of toasted spice and some woody tannin with a slick, sugary coffee finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and pretty thicccccck mouth feel. Actually would have like some boozey warmth to offset the sweetness. Definitely a dessert ale for those with a sweet tooth. Packs a lot in anyway, but could not imagine returning for another.

Clear dark brown to black beer, big creamy beige head, pretty stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: good roast, alcohol, cocoa powder, lots of soy sauce on pouring, pretty oxidized, luscious chocolate notes, a bit cheesy, heavy. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very thick and rich, sugary, pretty oxidized, chocolate, syrupy, a bit sweet, more roast, nice! Aftertaste: caramel, very sugary, cloying sweetness, a bitter roast, very nice, lots of dark chocolate, some ripe to overripe banana, dark chocolate.

330ml can. Pours almost black with a thick tan head. Aroma of very rich chocolate. Taste is very rich, incredible amount of chocolate, vanilla, massive sweetness saved only by some inherent bitterness of the cacao and some mild roast malt in the background. Full bodied, thick. Very nice but so rich I'm glad it was only a 330 can.

Can at home, 15th January 23. Pours thick and black. Aroma is rich dark chocolate, hot chocolate and chocolate milkshake, cocoa beans. Flavour is rich and chocolatey, cocoa beans covered in dark chocolate, dark bean, slight bitterness and more sweet chocolate with vanilla. Amazing flavour and mouth feel for the low ABV.
