Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Colin. A dark brown / black coloured pour with a swirl of mid tan head. Aroma is semi swet, boozy fruit cake, sherry, oak staves, brown sugars, tawny port. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, vinous fruit, oaky tannin, white grape, mellow roast, warming alcohol, fruit cake, Palate is semi sweet, some tannin, sticky, velvety, mellow carbonation. Lovely.

Can picked up from Foeders online webshop, Haarlem, Netherlands and consumed in the company of Bob and Clare, Sunday 26th March 2023. We had a nice couple of hours at Tegernsee brewery today followed by Weihenstephan on the way home. we had Chicken and Chorizo Lasagne and we also had a Raspberry Ice Cream and a Cherry Ice Cream, listening to Jon Hopkins - Immunity. Pours a very dark brown edging towards black with a light thin beige head. The aroma is nice, certainly fruity, with some dried cake fruits, a little Christmas cake, touches of booze. All of these aromas also present themselves in the mouth, also it has a little woodiness, big malty push. It's sweet but that's to be expected. Good beer.

Can at home, from Radbeer, 11/03/23. Light black with a khaki cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, dark fruit rinds, mellow barrel, spice, figs, booze, spice. Taste comprises figs, dates, spice, booze, bourbon, vinous, umami, toffee, molasses, fruit cake mix. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balance spike of alcohol. Solid stuff ... good balance and doesn't run sweet.

Can. Color: Almost black, thin beige head. Aroma: Fruity Sherry (grape, raisins), sweetish, caramel, spicy hints. Taste: Dark malt, fruity Sherry / grapes, raisins, caramel, spicy, oak wood notes. Medium sweet. Bit sticky but no lingering sweetness, moderate bitterness. Full body, low carbonation. Another nice Barrel Project.
