Bottle marked with 19.05.2010 thanks to bu11zeye. Black-brown body that stains the glass. Aroma of dark fruits, chocolate, vanilla, ash and alcohol. Taste is licorice, alcohol, dark fruits, and chalk. Creamy bubbles complement the syrupy mouthfeel.

A deep dark stout with a thin moka head. Again, very herbal and grassy bitter chocolate aroma, light vanilla and wooden notes. In mouth, a delicious mix of bitter chocolate, vanilla, licorice, burned coffee beans, warming alcohol, intense hops with grapefruits.....holy molly!!! Bieropholie import. BB 19-05-2018.

25-30 cl Draft. Amazing Aroma and flavour. A beer that gets you into trouble because you can just keep drinking it and at 12.5% that’s probably not a good idea.

bottle, bought from barley wine, shared with faroeviking in the woods of allerød, in the sunshine, to celebrate my 2 yrs on ratebeer. black, small brown thick smooth head. aroma is roasted stuff, brown sugar, spicy hops, wooden notes, licorice, faint chocolate. very well balanced. very good aroma. flavor is sweet, licorice, blend of brown sugar, alc, faint chocolate, faint coffee, faint hops, malt sweetness. Niiiiice. i think it sort of tastes like a blend of 1/3rds real fucking grean barley wine with lots of hops, and 2/3rds of real fucking great imp stout.. enjoy. nice!

Bottle: Poured a deep pitch-black color stout with a huge medium brown foamy head with great retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet barley malt with light bitter roasted ending with some light green hops also noticeable. Taste is also a nice mix between some sugary malt with some roasted malt bitterness and some well balanced green hops with nice floral notes. Somewhat hard to describe but very interesting and well balanced overall. Body is full with great carbonation and no appearance of alcohol was noted.

Bottle. Citric and floral frontal edge to the aroma, then honey, brown sugar, coffee abd chocolate. Black, low brown head. Medium body, mellow dry mouthfeel. Fresh flavor initially, like in the aroma, then chocolate an licorice, fairly salty.

Bottle 25 cl. Pours completely opaque black with a small, dense and creamy light brown head. Fat and intense aroma of burned malt, hops and alcohol. Very full-bodied with a solid base of burned malts and sweet licorice accents. Tar and peaty smoke. But also a strange tang of iodine and ink. Some malt bitterness. A very intense experience. 190109

Nice pour and aroma. The bitterness was a bit overkill for me but its not a bad imperial stout.
