On tap at the brewpubs 5 year anniversary. A hazy, orange-golden beer with a reddish tint and a small, beige head. Sour on the nose, citric and lemony with a little horseblanket and apple-cider vinegar. Tiny sugary touch too? Really sour in the mouth, astringent, medium bodied and with a pleasant level of carbonation. Some horseblanket flavor, but mostly sourish and lemony. A quite intense beer. A lovely palate- and tongue-killer. (080911)

(On tap) Very hazy amber golden with a small off-white head. Has a distinctly fresh and fruity - and woody - aroma with a distinct acidity. Medium-bodied with distinct, tart fruit accents - a burning acidity - with notes of almonds and a heavy salinity. A strange but enticing Sour. 110908

Hazy, dark orange body with a solid, off-white foam stand. Aroma is dominated by fruit acidity with cherries hints. Acrid taste of sourness from fruit and berries. Drinkable in small doses, and I did not empty my glass at the five years birthday celebration at Nørrebro Bryghus, Copenhagen (11.09.2008).

Hazy amber with a firm and lasting off-white head. Unique and complex aroma with leather, barnyard, cherry, oak and a hint of medicine. Flavour is fruity, with an initial sweetness, soon to be overtaken by the tartness. This develops into a complex oak and apple vinegar finish, and the only flaw is a little too much vinegar in the end.

11-09-08 Had this on tap at the brewpub, a glass awaited me as I walked into this place, cheers for that Craig . Real sharp tang, murky brown with a thin white head, mouldering wood reminded me just a little of Rodenbach, really quite nice.

Draught @ the brewpub. Hazy, reddish orange body with a thin beige head. Aroma is very sour, some cellar notes, wild yeast and a hint of sherry. My first little sip of this beer indicates something intense refreshing and sour, then the sourness just starts to increase to a level like acid. It’s interesting, that’s for sure, but just too much for me. I love sour brown beer and ordered a 0,5 liter glass. Only managed to finish half of it.

Draught at Norrebro, Copenhagen. Fruity sour aroma. Salt and vinegar crisps on the finish. Not really like a Flemish sour, bit of wood maybe. Little thin in mouth. Salt and vinegar crisps definitely.
